I can tell you right now, I have been in New York City permanently for only two weeks but I am sick of the delis that offer salads, buffet, sandwiches, breakfast etc etc etc that sit on every corner! They are all indistinguishable until you actually taste the food, so trying any deli is truly a mystery. Well, I have finally found my go-to place: Lenny’s. SO GOOD! Lenny’s has 10 locations in the city, offers a variety of excellent combination sandwiches, bagels, and salads, and has a notably efficient method of getting the food to their customer in adequate time. The sandwich I had was very high up on my judgement scale for turkey sandwiches: fresh lettuce, cucumber, tomato, onion, alpine swiss cheese and cheddar with a few slices of turkey on whole wheat bread. Tasty. Definitely go to Lenny’s if you are looking for fast food, quality service, and fresh ingredients. No more guess and check on delis!!

Sounds like a place we should try for lunch. You show a real flair for evaluating eateries, and I look forward to future posts.
You are correct my deary. Although if you’re gonna do it right at Lenny’s you need to skip the wheat bread and go for this: Turkey, provolone, shredded lettuce, tomato on a toasted bagel. Duh!
What happened to that Mike character who was such an integral part of prior reviews. I hear he has good taste in wine too.
Do they have Lenny’s in Paris?
